Moncton Combat Challenge Team

The Moncton Combat Challenge Team took on another challenge this year and that is fighting cancer along with the F.A.C.E. Foundation. They have helped their brother and sister firefighters by supporting research into the many cancers that afflict our profession. They raised money through car washes & dinners, combat challenges and calendars. The team went far beyond just selling their calendars... they included F.A.C.E. as part of it. But it didn't stop there.

In a joint effort with F.A.C.E., the team will be giving back to the people of their community by presenting a check to the Oncology Unit of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. The money which will be used for research, will be divided among eight cancers. By tackling these cancers everyone benefits. When we help ourselves we help others and that is what firefighters do. Moncton has shown us this many times.

We at F.A.C.E. wish to extend our total gratitude for all that you have done for us at F.A.C.E., your fellow firefighters and also the people of your community.
