November 20, 2009 provided St. Catharines Briarfield Plaza’s Shoppers Drug Mart; cosmetician Holly Trasmundi; and staff to put on a “Cosmetic Christmas Gala” at their store to raise money in support the F.A.C.E. Foundation. A portion of the ticket sales along with generous contributions from people at the gala were donated to F.A.C.E. It was a lady's night out with many women pampered by the Shoppers staff. Firefighters from St. Catharines and Burlington Fire Departments were on hand to offer glasses of sparkling water and sweets to the group.         Manal EL-Zeftwy, owner of the Briarfield Plaza Shoppers Drug Mart along with cosmetician Holly Trasmundi present F.A.C.E. representatives Tim and Lucie with a cheque in the amount of $545 from their fund raising events. We wish to thank Manal and all of the the staff at Shoppers Drug Mart for allowing us the opportunity to participate in this evening and for your generous donation and support. |
