We again wish to thank each and every one of you that supported our Foundation in 2009 and continue to do so. Sometimes it is difficult always talking about cancer. Many people do not want to hear, acknowledge, or even think about it. Others say you have to be there to understand. We at F.A.C.E. don't want anybody to "have to be there" and this is why we do what we do. We talk about it and fight it by donating to research ... $5 at a time. It is working, with your help. We again donated to Princess Margaret Hospital, still one of the top 5 cancer hospitals in the world and they gave back to us by .....
November 20, 2009 provided St. Catharines Briarfield Plaza’s Shoppers Drug Mart; cosmetician Holly Trasmundi; and staff to put on a “Cosmetic Christmas Gala” at their store to raise money in support the F.A.C.E. Foundation. A portion of the ticket sales along with generous contributions from people at the gala were donated to F.A.C.E.
September 21 2009 F.A.C.E. board members Jamie Rychard and Jason Burton arranged a last minute picture shoot for Tim. It was a dual celebration for Tim's as his recruit class of 1987 was celebrating 22 years as professional firefighters with the Burlington Fire Department and also 3 years since the conception of the F.A.C.E. Foundation.
