ABOUT THE LOGO

A logo is not just a visual representation of that which it stands for, but rather it is a symbol that holds meaning and cause. It was once said that only by means of our awareness do things come into being. We are normally unaware of something until it matters to us. You may wonder why a foundation using the acronym F.A.C.E. chose a silhouette as its logo. Hopefully, the silhouette will take on a face that means something special to anyone who looks at it. It represents all of us who are afflicted, all who are not, and all who cannot be with us. The axe is cutting into the existence of cancer and will not stop until this evil disease is no more. When you see our logo, think of someone you love, cherish or respect and help support them by supporting F.A.C.E.
